Brother Benilde Program

The Brother Benilde Program:

  • Provides students with documented special educational needs the opportunity to thrive in a college preparatory high school
  • Assists students with academic support
  • Encourages students to become strong self-advocates for their learning choices
  • Allows incoming 8th graders to participate in a Study Skills class focusing on transitioning to high school

Saint Paul’s School supports learners with a variety of exceptionalities, such as the following:

  • ADHD
  • Auditory Processing Disorder
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Developmental Coordination Disorder
  • Expressive/ Receptive Language Disorder
  • Language Processing Disorder
  • Other Health Impairment
  • Specific Learning Disability

While Saint Paul’s School does not provide special education services or facilities, we do make considerations regarding academic supports we are able to provide. Through a review of the student’s psycho-educational evaluation, faculty and staff may be able to make minor adjustments to accommodate the student’s exceptionality.

Academic Adjustment Plans (AAP) are created with input from the student, family, and staff. The nature and extent of such minor adjustments is within the sole discretion of the principal and/or the student services coordinator. Accommodations may be made in the following areas: presentation, setting, response, and time/scheduling.
